شاب بحريني يتسلق أعلى برج للاتصالات ويطالب بحضور محبوبته ووالدها للموافقة على زواجه

تسلق شاب بحريني يبلغ من العمر 19 سنة أحد أبراج الاتصالات بمنطقة مدينة حمد مساء أمس مهددا بعدم النزول من أعلى البرج إلا بعد حضور البنت التي ينوي الزواج منها برفقة والدها والموافقة على زواجه منها. 

و قد فوجئ الأهالي بإقدام الشاب على هذا التصرف الذي لا يشاهد إلا في الأفلام الرومانسية، وقال شهود عيان بأن الشاب كان يصرخ بأعلى صوته مطالبا بحضور محبوبته مع والدها إلى الموقع والموافقة على زواجه.

وحضر رجال الشرطة إلى الموقع على الفور، وبعدها حضر أيضا والد الفتاة إلى أملا في إقناع الشاب بالنزول إلا أنه طالب بحضور الفتاة أيضا و موافقتها على الزواج منه كشرط للنزول من أعلى البرج.

و احتشد عدد كبير من الأهالي و المارة حول البرج، حيث استمر الوضع لقرابة الساعتين إلى حين صعود رجال الشرطة الى البرج وانزال الشاب العاشق دون ان تحضر الحبيبة ودون أن يتحقق حلمه بالزواج.

Mai a Make-up addict

I am one of the girls who loves to put make up, I love buying make up and I love practicing it on my face. Unfortunately I don’t see myself good at it! I lately heard about Mai. I heard that she is giving a basic classes where she covers almost everything step by step! I really found that interesting and I decided to join her class!

You wont believe me how well organized her class was! Well let me start from the beginning!

Jena Bakery

A few days ago was my birthday, my dearest brought me a delicious chocolate cake! Somehow here in Bahrain most of people buy their cakes from la chocolat or Lilou, which both are really good, but to break this I got a real good cake from Jena Bakery! I totally loved it! The cake I got was full of CHOCOLATE!!! & I also got the chocolate diamonds which was also so delicious!!

I even took it with me to work and all the people at work complimented the cake! One said that even when he doesn’t like dessert he really liked this cake!

To be honest I have never been there, but I am planning to order from it soon! My mom also told me to order a cake for our family gathering!

البحرين تُفجع بوفاة 6 فتيات في حادث مرور مروِّع

فجعت البحرين مساء أمس السبت (25 فبراير/ شباط 2012) بوفاة ست فتيات في عمر الزهور، في حادث مرور مروع وذلك عندما تدهورت السيارة التي تقودها إحداهن على الطريق المؤدي إلى قرية سار من ناحية شارع الشيخ عيسى بن سلمان.

شهدت البحرين مساء أمس السبت (25فبراير/ شباط 2012) حادثاً مأساوياً إذ لقيت 6 شابات في عمر الزهور مصرعهن عندما تدهورت السيارة التي تقودها إحداهن على الطريق المؤدي إلى قرية سار من ناحية شارع الشيخ عيسى بن سلمان. وحضرت الجهات الأمنية إلى موقع الحادث، إذ قاموا بفرض طوق أمني بمحيط الموقع، ريثما تقوم الأجهزة المعنية بالتحقيق في ظروف وملابسات وقوع الحادث الذي خلف أضراراً جسيمة بالسيارة.

وبحسب التفاصيل؛ فإن الفتيات كن عائدات فيما يبدو إلى منازلهن عندما فقدت سائقة السيارة السيطرة على قيادتها بالقرب من مدخل قرية سار الجنوبي، مما أدى إلى انحرافها وارتطامها بالرصيف وتدهورها لتصطدم بجدار مبنى سكني، حيث أسفر الحادث عن انحشار جميع الركاب بالسيارة وعلى رغم من محاولة أفراد الدفاع المدني تخليصهن من بين حطام المركبة فإن 5 منهن توفين في موقع الحادث، فيما توفيت الشابة السادسة بالمستشفى بعد نقلها بواسطة الإسعاف ولم تفلح جهود الطاقم الطبي في إنقاذ حياتها.

في السياق ذاته؛ جدد أهالي قرية سار خلال حديثهم إلى «الوسط» مطالبة الجهات المعنية بضرورة إيجاد حل جذري للشارع الذي شهد الحادث المأساوي، وذلك لعدم وجود مطبات اصطناعية لتخفيف السرعة أمام السواق، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود إنارة كافية بالشارع المذكور

Swirl Cupcakes

 I recently was surfing the net when I saw Bahrainipreneur's tweet about swirl cupcakes.. It was a day after Valentine's day.. I immediately checked the site and I was so amazed with what they have.. I specially loved the cupcake bouquets they have! It was so nice decorated and I have never seen something like this before!

I called them right away after I checked their site and tweets and they picked it directly! The owner was such a sweetheart! She was so nice and open to any question! I guess I kind of bothered her with calling and asking but she was answering her phone, texting me and emailing me! I have never dealt with someone like her to be honest!

& my friend has ordered the pink or red bouquet which was available for valentine:

I honestly did not try their cupcakes so I can’t rate for the taste. However I asked my friend who I sent the cupcakes to and he rated them 8 out of 10.

I would give their decoration 10 out of 10! It is so unique and neat! I loved her work so much!

BUSY BUSY WEEKEND!

Last weekend was a busy busy busy weekend for me! I enjoyed it to the max!
Starting from Thursday, I went out celebrating my friend’s birthday (ZJAY) and stayed out till 11 PM.. Friday, went to my friend’s house (FJAY) and stayed with her the whole day eating, talking and watched dvd with her, returned back at 10.30 PM.. Saturday, I wanted to spend it relaxing, so I stayed at home till maybe 7 PM where I went out again with two of my friends and ate dinner at the car..
I am not an out going person, I don’t like to go out much.. But last weekend I felt like I needed to go out.. Not to stay at home! & oh I loved being out all the weekend!
Sunday was an awesome day too! At work we had a meeting from 8 AM till 2.30 PM at Sofitel I didn’t take any pictures except this one :P



Later that day, my boss planned to take the whole department to race carting! OH MY GOD! I SO LOVED IT! First I wasn’t sure if I am going or not, specially that I will be the only girl there! But what encouraged me is that my dad will be with me – since we both work at the same department – ! So I said why not!
You have no idea how much I enjoyed the race! & I was so thankful that I wasn’t the last lol.. I wasn’t perfect but I wasn’t the last :P !!
I loved it so much! It was so nice experience! I would really recommend those who didn’t go to BIC to go and try racing there! If you are engaged/married and you want to surprise your loved ones take them to the race! I dun think any guy would hate this! Just go both of you and race together! I think it would be an amazing gift :D
